We are getting ready to list our home in the next couple of weeks and we are starting to get overwhelmed about the house not selling quickly. What are some tricks that you have to get our home sold quick and for top dollar?

- Tidy up and PACK! You are getting ready to move, aren’t you? Let’s get most of your home packed, except for the items that you use everyday and it will help declutter your home. It may help to have a cleaning company do a light cleaning prior to the photographer coming. TRUST US. If your home looks move in ready, pristine, and the way a staged model home typically looks, it is more likely to have an offer come in quickly.
- A staging consult goes a long way. We have a staging partner we love to work with and clients who tackle and listen to their homework list, have had GREAT results. A lot of the time, the staging company recommends moving and reusing items that are already found in your home! Let’s show your home in it’s best light. After all, we want the new buyers to imagine themselves in their new home, don’t we?
- When our specialists suggest blinds open, music on, make arrangements for your pets and house guests, buy a plug-in… we mean it. Open houses and showings are experiences. We want to play to ALL of the people who walk through your home’s senses. And, in turn… your home will sell FAST.
- This goes without saying – let your home show. Yes, selling a house is the most inconvenient time in our lives. But it will be SOOOOOOO worth it when you are sitting in the living room of your new home just a few short weeks later. We ask our sellers to let us know if there are conflicts with showing schedules – communication with the co-broker is key.
